beth i'w wneud
A hithau'n dref sydd o fewn cyrraedd hwylus i fynydd, afon a môr, mae Dolgellau'n lle delfrydol i aros. Mae'r dref urddasol, hanesyddol yn eistedd wrth droed Cader Idris, sy'n fynydd poblogaidd gyda dringwyr, ac mae mynyddoedd anial y Rhinog yn lle ardderchog i fynd i gerdded. Ceir canolfannau beicio mynydd, caiacio a rafftio gyda'r gorau yn y byd yn yr ardal hon ac mae ras hwylio enwog y Tri Chopa yn cychwyn o geg afon Mawddach yn y Bermo.
Os mai trenau sy'n mynd â'ch bryd, mae aml i lein fach yn yr ardal – Ffestiniog, Porthmadog, Tal-y-llyn, y Friog, y Bala, Corris a'r Trallwng. Efallai mai hanes yw'ch diddordeb. Os felly, dim ond un ymhlith ugeiniau o safleoedd diddorol yn yr ardal yw Castell Harlech, sy'n Safle Treftadaeth Byd. Ceir olion bryngaerau, cylchoedd cerrig a hyd yn oed amffitheatr Rufeinig yn yr ardal hefyd.
Mae tref Dolgellau ei hunan yn ardal gadwraeth, gyda dros 200 o adeiladau rhestredig – mwy na'r un lle arall o'i faint yng Nghymru, yn ôl y sôn. Mae cyfoeth o wybodaeth ar gyfer pobl sy'n chwilio i hanes eu teulu yn hen archifdy'r sir.

Step back in time with Corris Mine Explorers as you explore the abandoned workings of an old Welsh Slate Mine. This rare opportunity takes you into the vast underground caverns of the disused mines and way back to 1836 when the mines were first worked.
Your hugely knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide will help you discover the history of the mine. See the machinery and miners' tools, their candles and even a packet of cigarettes. It is as if the miners have just gone with many of the things they left behind still in place.
