Coed Cae B&B, run by Graham and Jacky O’Hanlon, is set in two acres of woodland overlooking the beautiful Mawddach estuary in the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.
The B&B lies between Dolgellau and Barmouth in the scattered village of Taicynhaeaf (pronounced Tie-can-hi-ev) at the head of the Cwm-Mynach, the valley of the monks, historically owned by nearby Cymer Abbey. We are close to the larger village of Bontddu (approximately “Bonthy”), with the 17th century George III Inn just across the bridge at Penmaenpool.
