5-course Meal and Wine of “Good Influence”
Taste/Blas Dolgellau, Snowdonia, 15-17th October, 2010

Dylanwad Da restaurant, located in the beautiful market town of Dolgellau in Snowdonia, will be providing an evening of affordable sophistication in support of the region's newest food festival, Taste/Blas Dolgellau, being held 15th - 17th October.
Dylanwad Da translates from Welsh as 'Good Influence' and the punning name aptly suits owner and chef, Dylan Rowland, as Dylan has been directly importing the wine of small family producers from across Europe over the past decade. Established in 1988, Dylanwad Da has been listed in The Good Food Guide for the last 21 consecutive years and has been recommended in The Guardian, The Times and The Daily Post. Wine critic, Neville Blech, writes in his book, The Top 100 UK Restaurant Wine Lists, “...this is one of the places where you can drink some real quality wines at a very reasonable price.”
Specially created for the Taste/Blas Dolgellau event, the restaurant will offer a 5-course meal on Friday and Saturday nights, highlighting the best of local Welsh producers, with each course including an exciting matching wine. On the Sunday Dylan will move out of the kitchen to share his wine knowledge gleaned over many years of enthusiastic study, travel and sampling in a Tutored Wine Tasting.
Dylanwad Da owner and chef, Dylan Rowland, says, “I am thrilled about this exciting opportunity to match up good quality wines together with local produce from the area. This event is something we've been wanting for a long time.”
